Returns Policy

At Candles By Occasion, we take pride in the quality of our personalised products. However, due to the unique and custom nature of these items, we regret that we cannot accept returns unless there has been an error on our part, which can happen from time to time. In such instances, we are delighted to facilitate an exchange of the order at no additional cost and refund any return postage expenses incurred.

While we strive for perfection, occasional errors may occur. Therefore, we kindly request that you notify us immediately upon receiving your order if any issues or discrepancies are detected, so that we can promptly address and rectify them. After a 3-day grace period, we will assume that all is satisfactory, and any potential replacements and associated shipping costs will become the responsibility of the buyer.

It is important to note that customers are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of their requirements during the online ordering process, including custom colour choices and spelling. We accept responsibility for candles that are reported as damaged within 24 hours of delivery. Beyond this timeframe, we regret that we cannot accept any responsibility for damaged or broken candles.

We work with An Post to provide a tracked delivery service. If, for any reason, An Post is unable to deliver your package (perhaps because no one is available to accept it), and the package needs to be temporarily stored at the sorting office, please understand that we cannot be held responsible for any possible damage that might occur during this period. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.

Cancellations

You have the right to cancel your order within 24 hours of purchase without the need to provide a reason. To cancel an order, please email us at hello@candlesbyoccasion.ie within this 24-hour window.

Please be aware that we are unable to accommodate cancellations beyond this timeframe. By making a purchase from Candles By Occasion, we assume that you have read and agreed to our Terms and Conditions. Your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated.
